Transition to University of Redlands for practice
With the transition to University of Redlands next week, we are implementing some new safety protocols that USAWP has asked all clubs to establish for their insurance certification.
All athletes 14 & under MUST be accompanied to and from the pool deck by a parent/guardian at the beginning and end of a practice. It will no longer be okay to drop a child from the parking lot or have them meet you on the lot at the end of practice. This is for the safety of all of our athletes. If a child enters or exits the pool unaccompanied by an adult there will be 1 contact warning followed by other penalties such as the athlete being kept out of practice or financial obligations. We plan to have coaches meet parents at the entrance to the pool deck before practice.
If you arrive late, we ask that you please make sure the coach is aware you are there and dropping the child off. We will continue to be fine with any parents observing practice from appropriate viewing areas on deck as we have been doing.
