Hall is the Head Coach and Director of Sand Canyon Water Polo Club. He is also the Head Men’s Coach at the University of Redlands, his alma mater. Hall graduated from the U of R in 2008 with his B.A. in Philosophy and later returned in 2016 to complete his M.A. in Higher Education.

Liam Murphy, Goalie Coach

Works with age-group and high school goalies to develop the fundamentals and skills to become well-rounded goalies and teammates.

• Played at El Dorado High School
• CIF-SS all-time top ten in saves during a season (401) and most saves in a game (33)
• 2019 Century Hills League MVP
• 2018 Century Hill League First Team All-League

Travis has been a coach at Sand Canyon WPC since 2014. Travis has also coached at Chaffey College, Pacific HS, and Arrowhead CC. Travis began competitive swimming and Water Polo as a youth and played both sports through high school and college. He swam and and played water polo for Pacific High School and Chaffey College where he earned all-League, all-CIF, and All-American accolades in both sports. Travis has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He teaches at Loma Linda University and has 3 kids on the team.

Jordan played four years of varsity water polo at Yucaipa High School, and a year of college water polo at Riverside Community College. Jordan has coached both the Junior Varsity girls Yucaipa high school team as well as the youth age groups at Sand Canyon WPC and previously Thunderbird WPC for the last four years. Jordan attends Cal Baptist University and is working towards earning a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. She plans to become a high school teacher along with continuing to coach at the HS and youth levels.

Christine is currently a sophomore and the starting goalie for the Yucaipa high school varsity water pool team. She has been playing water polo for 10 years. Christine was the Citrus Belt League MVP her freshman year and is the current CIF record holder for most saves in a season (489). She was a member of the USA Cadet National team and is currently a member of the USA water polo academy team. Christine was the San Bernardino girls water polo player of the year her freshman year.

Ty Hudson has been involved in aquatic sports since 1982. He began playing water polo in high school and played at the collegiate level at Chaffey Community College in Rancho Cucamonga. After his playing career, Ty began coaching and officiating at the high school and Community College level while finishing his graduate degree in Art Education at Cal State San Bernardino. Ty began teaching at Santiago High School in Corona, CA in 2004. While at Santiago, he was a 3 X league Coach of the Year and earned CIF SS Coach of the Year honors as well. He has coached at the collegiate, high school, and youth levels over the course of his coaching career. Ty has coached in several CIF Championship games and Collegiate State Title tournaments. Ty currently teaches Graphic Design at Yucaipa High School in California where he led the Thunderbird’s program to their first CIF Semifinals appearance in program history. He currently participates on the CIF SS Coaches Advisory Committee and the NFHS Rules Committee.
